At Pulse, we offer two different educational pathways to cater for all.

Pathway A

For players that achieve 4 Grade A* - C's (9 - 4), they will be placed on our BTEC Course.

Year 1  - BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport

Year 2 - BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport

Pathway B

For players that achieve less that 4 Grade A* - C's (9 - 4), they will be placed on our VRQ Course.

Year 1 - City & Guilds Level 2 Increasing Participation in Sport

Year 2 - City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Sport

Players who do not achieve a Grade A* - C (9 - 4) in English and Maths will be required to retake these at either GCSE or Function Skills Level.

All students will receive a minimum of 10 hours of coaching a week from our team working on all aspects of the game with plenty of opportunities to play in fixtures.

No matter what pathway you are to be enrolled on, you will have the opportunity to complete you FA Level 1 and FA Level 2 Coaching Badges which will be delivered at Tomlinscote School by our Head Tutor, Austin Harris. These Qualifications can lead to part-time jobs with SCL coaching children at breakfast clubs and after school clubs within the area.

Players from both pathways will both train and play in fixtures together so there are plenty of opportunities to meet everyone. This is what makes the #PulseFamily
